My name is Christer Norden and I live and work in the Yosemite National Park area,
but I'm originally from the northern part of the country of Sweden. I've always been passionated about the creative arts and photography and moved to the U.S. to further my educatation with in the arts.
I first lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and later moved to Los Angeles, California.
Since I was raised around nature, I eventually settled in Yosemite to fulfill my creative
desire to be one with this magnificent nature.
In this natural kingdom I do my fine art, wedding, and portrait photography.
I specialize in beautiful outdoor scenery, which is incorporated into my wedding and portrait photography. I'm also a professional pianist and play steadily within this area.
The great photographers Henri Cartier-Bresson, Ansel Adams, and Lennart
Nilsson have greatly influenced my artistic eye to capture human beauty and
nature at the same time. Not only is their end result admirable, but their dedication and strive for
perfection, which is elusive and one never attains. To be able to capture
those fleeting moments, that glimpse of something special, is what drives
my photography.
People say that I have an inherent ability for composition, and respect and
integrate the nature into my photographs, which sets me apart from the
ordinary.
I have often requests to create Fine Art pieces for collectors and
companies. Please feel free to send me an inquery.
